Sound Field
Sound Field is a music education series that explores the music theory, production, history and culture behind our favorite songs and musical styles. Pop, classical, rap, jazz, electronic music, folk, country and indigenous music — we’ll cover it all and highlight the connections between genres. Hosted by accomplished musicians and music teachers, each episode will be a unique combination of musical performance and video essay explainers.
I supported the first season of Sound Field as a Production Assistant, working on location for documentary shoots across the country and assisting with logistics, equipment, locations, interviews, and crew needs.
In a later season, I returned to Sound Field to lead the creative development and production of What Gives Heavy Metal Its Devilish Sound?, taking the episode from early concept and story development through production and final delivery.

Contributed to The Sound of NYC’s Underground Vogue Scene, winner of the 2020 Webby Award + Webby People’s Voice Award for Music. The same episode received two Bronze Telly Awards for Diversity & Inclusion and Culture,
Contributed to What Makes Black Gospel Musicians So Skilled?, winner of the 2021 Webby Award for Music.
Served as a Production Assistant on the first season of Sound Field, which received a 2019 Silver Telly Award for Best Online Music Series.
