Almanac
ALMANAC is Minnesota’s longest-running public affairs show. When it debuted in 1984, Almanac upended the traditional public affairs format by combining balanced reporting, thoughtful analysis and a one-of-a-kind mix of Midwest quirkiness. Today, more than thirty years later, Almanac has become one of the most respected television offerings in the region.
I worked on Almanac from 2019 to 2024, first as an Associate Director and later expanding my role to include Associate Producer responsibilities in 2022.
On the live production side, I managed timing and cueing while supporting scripts and show rundowns. As my role expanded, I took on guest booking, research, segment development, and writing, contributing to both the editorial and production sides of the weekly program.
